人的回憶真是奇妙,本來已遺忘20多年的東西,最近又想起彷彿一下子又進入時光隧道

..

再與各位回味幾首歌曲..

在1989年當時有一首情歌~Baby I Love Your Way,突然間竄紅,應該是當年最紅的歌曲.
主唱Will To Power合唱團知名度雖不高,但是這首歌真的很棒很紅,令人懷念

80年代後期,有一位性感美女貝琳達.卡萊兒,也曾紅過一陣子.
這首Circle in the sand是1988年的歌曲,
當年台視有個節目叫"金頻道",常常放送這首歌

80年代末，不只美國的BILLBOARD排行榜，英國的金榜也是那時超棒的；各家崛起百花齊放都好好聽....
我這年紀那時最夯應該WHAM--GEORGE MICHAEL & ANDREAW 的CARELESS WHISHER、LAST X`MAS....
實在有太多那時期的經典。個人認為現在2000~2010的抒情曲沒有80~90好聽。

小P大大說的沒錯,可能我的"大美國主義"太重,我選的這幾首歌在美國都很紅,但是在台灣不一定紅.

80年代有一個現象,某些歌曲或藝人在歐美其實普通而已,但是在亞洲地區卻紅透半邊天

.
先舉第一個例子~

老牌合唱團比吉斯在1987年有首歌:You win again ,在美國Billboard榜並未打入前十名.
但是這首歌在亞洲很紅,在日本拿下冠軍單曲,在台灣亦是紅極一時,五.六年級生幾乎都聽過這首歌

話說80年代末,有一位少男歌手~湯米.佩吉,此人在歐美其實聲勢平平而已,
但是在亞洲地區居然紅的不像話,台灣不少五.六年級的女生應該很懷念他吧!

此人的招牌歌Should to cry on,當年風靡許多台灣少女

其實早期很多國語歌都是抄西洋歌曲的曲子,但是80年代雖然較少不過還是有,
1984年,藍心湄的"週末夜天使"原曲是麥克傑克遜的Billy Jean,這是我印像最深的一首歌.
那時我才讀國小六年級

還記得那時最常收看[余光]主持的---閃亮的結奏???
印象中他是第一個主持播放外國MTV的始祖。其專業度不在話下，在只有老3台得當時，華視收視率很多還靠他...
後其一些節目陸續跟進...不過都顯得沒那麼專業，還靠唸稿之類...
更後面第4台開放，MTV台和chanel V 等一開始還是以ABC等出身的藝人來主持..例如吳大維等，主持風格就完全和余光又不同...；那是據傳沒有3兩3還沒資格主持哩

老楊大大選的都是當時經典之ㄧ，有些樂團或歌手真的都不見了甚為可惜。
前陣子買到一張Morden Talking摩登語錄的精選輯CD...聽到連小女兒都琅琅上口

(這團可是老爸當時的天團)。最近在找另一天團---A-HA---，很難找到

GEORGE MICHAEL去年發了一張藍光Live in London老歌新歌都有,唱了那麼多年發覺他嗓音更穩更棒
至於a-ha去年底已退出歌壇封mic囉

摩登語錄合唱團其實在美國的聲勢也是平平而已,但是他們在亞洲反而比較紅,

我當兵時有幾位同袍其實也不常聽西洋歌曲,但是他們幾乎都有這個合唱團的專輯,所以可見他們當年在台灣
紅的程度

..

這個合唱團在80年代初在美國曾紅過一陣子,但是也稱不上是大紅,而且很早就已過氣,但是在台灣卻一直紅到
80年代末

..

不過他們的曲風以抒情見長,這個主唱聲音很好,由其高音的部份唱的很漂亮.

80年代除了歐美和亞洲偏好略有不同的怪現象,
另外歌曲若能和廣告結合,在以前老三台時代可以在台灣紅的更快..

1987年,有一個名稱怪異的合唱團"奔跑的馬車",有一首歌:In my dream,
除了打入美國錢櫃單曲前10名,台灣有速食麵業者拿來當廣告主題曲,是那家速食麵?忘了!

這首歌當年在台灣也是挺紅的

提到廣告歌,最經典的可能莫過於青箭口香糖!

約1987年,這支廣告的主題曲Nothing gonna change my love for you紅遍全台.
這首歌是少男歌手葛蘭麥德羅斯Glenn Medeiros的老歌翻唱,
可惜的是,他這首歌紅,但是人不怎麼紅,在台灣聲勢不如同質性的湯米.佩吉.

我有一張葛蘭麥德羅斯的專輯,他的聲音其實還比湯米.佩吉好,
可惜他紅的時間不長..

Nothing gonna change my love for you是一首很羅曼蒂克的歌,
不管時間過了多久,怎麼聽都好聽

這幾天莫名的想聽從前80~90的西洋歌曲....難道真的"心"老化了

從YOUTUBE上一路從我國中時期第一次接觸聽到的WHAM、A-HA、Morden talking....放空自己回到當時那不到20歲的毛頭小子...突然感觸很深----我真的老了

小弟也是西洋音樂的愛好者,一開始是從抒情曲入門,國中還跟同學去中華體育館聽Paul Young的演唱會,後來偏好Punk rock 與 Heavy Metal,還因此學過一陣子Bass,迷上Grunge是因為一個女孩,之後雖如願去了Seattle,但無法見到Kurt Cobain的現場演唱,一直引以為憾,現在幾乎沒在聽西洋流行音樂了,iPod裡面放的還是80,90年代的歌,而現在最常聽的則是嬰兒的哭聲與兒歌...

這團體算80年代的~Journey，新主唱Arnel Pineda 嗓音還真神似原主唱Steve Perry，不過Steve Perry聲音較為沙啞渾厚，Arnel Pineda 則是清晰而細緻些；
1/24年初二南下塞車時收音機傳來這首歌，原以為Steve Perry歸隊Journey，後來上網查了才發現這新主唱是菲律賓人，好厲害啊！

Journey也是小弟喜愛的樂團之一，
成軍於1970年代末期，1981年Escape/這張白金暢銷專輯，大放異彩奠定了天團的地位。
小弟對Journey的啟蒙就是1981年Escape專輯裡面的Don't Stop Believin'，
黑膠唱片傳來主唱Steve Perry高亢沙啞的渾厚歌聲，撫慰當時狂妄不羈的青春歲月。
該專輯多首Top 10歌曲，
例如Open Arms，Who's Crying Now，Stone in Love，Still They Ride等等。
1983年經典單曲Faithfully，Separate Ways等，同是流行芭樂的代表作。
1988年出了張Greatest Hits之後，覺得Journey的顛峰時代差不多走完了。

雖然Bee Gees膾炙人口的歌非常多.小弟個人還是最愛You win again.
在那之後Bee Gees似乎沒有很大的成績.紀念過世的4弟的那首Wish you were here雖然不是主打歌但是聽來令人很有感觸.
後來還有一首Alone小弟也覺得非常喜愛.

可惜前幾年其中一位過世之後Bee Gees的經典成為絕響了.實在令人難過

Bee Gees是很老很老的樂團了!

個人頗喜好他們早期的民謠曲風,這種曲風襯托聲勢浩大的管弦樂,很抒情華麗而悠揚,是1960年代頗流行的曲風.
但是這種曲風進入1970年代就逐漸式微..

他們有一首"麻賽諸塞"應該算經典代表

Up Where We Belong 這首歌是電影:軍官與紳士1983年(Officer And A Gentleman)的主題曲,旋律悠揚,饒富勵志風格的抒情歌曲,也榮獲1983年奧斯卡最佳電影歌曲獎! Joe Cocker & Jennifer Warnes 的男女對唱,深獲好評!電影裡男主角:李察吉爾 Richard Gere 飾演一位官校生,叛逆瀟灑的個性,迷倒不少女性影迷,但是男配角:路易斯葛斯二世 Louis Gossett Jr.飾演一位面惡心善的班長,他在表面上的嚴苛與內心的感情上，拿捏得恰到好處，精湛的演技,幾乎搶過了男主角的風采,奪下奧斯卡也是對他最大的肯定!當時1983年(民72,當時我是國三生)的農曆春節上映時,在西門町的國賓戲院排隊買票,排了一個多小時才買到票去看電影,當時春節檔強檔是:外星人E.T,但是-軍官與紳士這部電影在當時春節檔也是不甘示弱的!在此推薦給軍友分享!

快退伍時,有一天戲弄我徒弟...我問他:你會不會唱 Power of Love ?
他說:...班長妳別強人所難了....
我說:我隨便找個一般兵都會唱...
他當然不相信...
我就拿著歌本交給營長傳令說:你會不會唱這首?
傳令說會,就唱了台語的"愛情的力量"

我一直以為這首英文歌是惠妮休士頓唱的,有一天在ICRT聽到,才知道原唱是........
